Managing a team of designers, I oversee all design elements, from the conception to final delivery including deciding which design elements to use; I spearhead the new visual design for company rebrand, video, social media assets, email, and web redesign.

 

  • Actively building and directing new video stylings for the brand including lower thirds, titles, and transitions.

  • Responsible for a 50% increase in engagement across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter through new image direction.

  • Drive creative for email needs such as copy and imagery. Personally build and test through Mailchimp before handing over to Marketing Team for Audience selection.

Uncommon Giving

May 2020 to Present

Liaised with the head of the social media department, brainstorming, developing, and executing weekly and monthly concepts for social media for an online giving philanthropy. Established a template library to facilitate efficiency, designing new iconography, textures, and styling to keep images fresh while keeping in line with the brand tone.

  • Refined and designed icons for internal corporate use, amplifying social asset impact and web-related materials.

  • Generated a great increase in social impressions on developed images.

Fastly

July 2020 to October 2020

Through video interviews and a massive dive into the Fastly brand, I developed ideas with team members to create a concept for an awareness campaign focused on the Developer community.

  • Within the first 24 hours of launch, and with no pre-promotion, the site had around 400 unique visitors and 600 visitors overall. Within the first four days, engagement was little under 1,300 visitors.

  • Constructed all campaign materials including illustrations of profiled developers, social assets, utilized Instapage and Sketch to build web pages, as well as animated gifs for the microsite and display ads.

  • Generated initial campaign idea and walked Creative Director through the idea for buy-in.

Ureeka

Demonstrated the vital role of the creative department in driving organizational success. Established storyboard animation look and feel, creating titles, transitions, and lower thirds for new video series.

  • Post engagement increased by 20 percent

  • Member base grew 30 percent as a direct result of more appealing creative.

  • Produced a new look for their internal website and social graphics including video.

Using my strong eye for aesthetics and visual details, I ensured a quality final product for all client accounts. Collaborating across the organization to drive up standards of digital creativity. Created high impact print pieces for clients, including direct mail, luxury brochures, and trend reports. All the while, reviewing the work of junior designers to give guidance and feedback though creative critique and general discussions.

 

  • Built engaging wireframes and artistic elements for desktop and mobile applications.

  • Arranged and designed videos via storyboards, voice overs, animated elements, and filmed content.

  • Built and designed social media imagery and videos which achieved a median of 50% completion rates and click through.

  • Co-directed a client photo-shoot and chose selects for general use; directed internal photo-shoots for employee headshots and the 2018 Christmas book, comprising of 15 different scenes, which included set up, tear down.

  • Applying my knowledge of Adobe XD and Photoshop, and Sketch, I built numerous emails and web pages before handing off for development; whom I worked with in tandem to ensure responsive design.

Balancing both print production and web posting and creation, I educated and enacted policies with the sales teams of the creative processes to meet various goals of regulatory guidelines, deadlines, procedures, and attentive to compliance processes.

 

  • Completed over 800 projects during tenure for both print and web teams.

  • Lead designer for peers to discuss design direction including logo creation, typesetting, pre-press, and sales materials and instructed the sales teams of creative processes to meet various goals of regulatory deadlines, procedures, and compliance processes.

  • Generated email blasts through the adjustment of HTML and CSS as necessary and utilized Litmus and Vertical Response to test responsive components and layout before finalizing and sending to dedicated mailing lists.

Production & Package Designer

  • Generated packaging layouts across brand ensuring continuity and working with senior team members and Creative Director.

  • Conceptualized, designed and executed prototypes for attention-grabbing packaging materials, using design elements such as shape, color, graphics and typography to create packaging that is functional and appealing to customers and adhering to brand standards.

  • Collaborated with marketing, sales teams, and copywriters, to create eye-catching designs.

  • Printed, laminated, and built mock-up packages for vendors, trade shows, and internal design services. Ran preflight and pre-press checks, communicated with vendors, and reviewed hard copy proofs.

  • Created informative icons, logos, infographics, and technology graphics, which have been used on applicable layouts. Also designed, POPs, end-caps, and sales sheets, informational guides, and web art for sales, trade shows, and other company needs.
